 Type to Learn for grades 3-5
Computers have become very useful tools at school and because of that keyboarding skills are necessary and  important. During your child’s IMC time, we focus on finding letters on the keyboard for grades K-2. Grades 3-5 use a program called Type to Learn that teaches students to use proper hand placement while teaching the location of all the letters on the keyboard.   This is a free program for Unit 5 families and available to download at home. See directions below. 15-20 minutes of practice at home a couple times a week would greatly increase student’s skills and increase their success in completing assignments, district and state testing, etc.

Download and install appropriate FULL VERSION program onto your computer.
