State Farm Good Neighbor Grant Info

State Farm® Good Neighbor Grant™ Program

State Farm awards a $500 grant on behalf of each eligible associate (active employees & agents) who volunteers a minimum of 40 hours a year to an eligible nonprofit organization like Grove Elementary School.  The State Farm® Good Neighbor Grant™ Program is a great way for Grove Parents who work at State Farm to give their time and talent to our school.
This program entails 3 easy steps:
  1. Volunteer a minimum of 40 hours in a calendar year (January - December).

  2. Submit the online Good Neighbor Grant Program application before March 31 each year.

  3. State Farm sends a $500 grant to our school.

There are many avenues to become involved and feel a part of your child’s school experience on a day-to-day basis.  It is important to note the hours do not need to be accumulated during the school day.  Below are a few of the volunteering opportunities we have at Grove.

  • Activities (Chess Club, Art Club, Scouts, Young Authors. etc.)

  • Committee work through the Grove PTO

  • Individual Classroom Volunteers

  • Library Aide

  • Lunch Room Volunteer

  • Market Day Volunteer

  • Recess Volunteer

  • Room Parent

  • PTO Events

  • Classroom preparation for teacher - cut, laminate, organize, create, grade, etc.  This type of volunteering can be done at home!
